Refund policy

At ALTVAN, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please read the following information carefully.

Returns

Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided they:

Are unused and uninstalled.
Are in their original packaging.
Are in a resaleable condition.
Are accompanied by proof of purchase.

Before returning any item, please contact us at hello@altvan.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.

Returns sent without prior authorisation may be delayed or refused.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty or supplied incorrectly:

Special order items.
Custom-made or personalised products.
Electrical components that have been installed.
Products that have been fitted, used, modified or damaged after delivery.

Incorrect or Damaged Goods

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs where applicable. We will work with you to arrange a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate.

Return Shipping Costs

Where a return is due to a customer ordering the incorrect item or changing their mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Where goods are supplied incorrectly by ALTVAN or arrive damaged, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.

Warranty

Many products sold by ALTVAN are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and product.

Warranty claims cover manufacturing defects only and do not cover:

Incorrect installation.
Misuse or abuse.
Accidental damage.
Normal wear and tear.
Vehicle compatibility issues where the correct vehicle details were not supplied at the time of ordering.
