Premium Brake Upgrades
A heavily converted or fully loaded Sprinter can ask a lot more of its braking system than a standard van. Our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter brake upgrades are designed to improve braking performance, pedal confidence and consistency — particularly on heavier campervans, expedition builds and vans carrying significant permanent weight.
Available for selected Sprinter 906 and 907 models, our upgrade packages use carefully chosen components to give the braking system a worthwhile step up from the standard setup.

Upgrading the dampers can completely change the way a heavy van or camper feels on the road. We supply and install uprated KONI and Bilstein shock absorbers to improve suspension control, ride comfort and stability without unnecessarily compromising everyday usability.

A sagging rear end, harsh crashing over bumps, frequent bottoming-out or a van that feels unsettled when loaded can all be signs that the original rear leaf springs are struggling with the weight they’re being asked to carry. This is particularly common on heavily converted campervans and vans carrying significant permanent equipment.
We offer uprated rear leaf spring solutions including twin-leaf and 2+1-leaf configurations, selected around the vehicle’s actual weight and how it is used. Rather than simply fitting the heaviest spring available, we look at permanent load, typical payload and the ride you want to achieve to recommend the right level of support — helping restore ride height, improve stability and let the van carry its weight more confidently.

All installations are completed at our workshop in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, led by a Mercedes-Benz Commercial Master Technician with over a decade of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle experience.
We take a hands-on approach to every van, looking at how it is built, how much weight it carries and how it is actually used before recommending the right setup. From individual suspension upgrades to more involved lift and load-support packages, the same attention to detail goes into every installation.
We’re just five minutes from Bexhill-on-Sea railway station, and can offer station drop-off and collection for customers leaving their vehicle with us.
ALTVAN 120mm 907 Sprinter Lift Kit.
Developed for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 907 RWD (2018+), our Stage 2 lift provides approximately 120mm of additional ride height using genuine Mercedes-Benz AWD suspension components rather than relying on simple chassis spacer blocks.
The conversion uses genuine Mercedes-Benz AWD components, ALTVAN-developed front turrets and bump stops and KONI Special Active dampers to create a properly integrated suspension package with geometry and road manners kept firmly in mind.
